The Guardian

In the remote Wadi of Matkhandoush, an aging Bedouin man, Assouf, lives in silence among sacred rock carvings and memories of the past. His solitude is shattered when two men arrive Qabeel, young and fevered, and Massoud, smooth-talking and persistent—demanding to hunt the Waddan, a rare mountain sheep believed to carry the soul of the mountains.

Assouf resists, but threats and hunger force him to guide them. As they journey through a haunted desert, the curse that stalks Qabeel begins to surface. Visions, storms, and ancient spirits blur the boundary between myth and reality. When Qabeel sees the Waddan not as prey, but as Assouf himself, the desert demands a final sacrifice. A flood comes. The land reclaims what was taken. And silence returns.
