Three estranged people are living in a remote farming place: the Old Man, his son (the Man) and his wife (the Woman). Their life seems to be monotonous and quiet. The surroundings are silent and pristine. However, these three people do not have peace of mind. They have lost bonds with each other and neither listen to each other nor share their thoughts and feelings. Each of them is a separate alienated soul. Each of them has his own secrets, his own fate, his own decisions. They are only nominally the members of one family. But after wolves attack their shed, some of the complicated issues in their lives start to unfold. Their usual actions - like selling the meat of sheep bitten by wolves - reveal the hidden sides of their lives: the Man having a lover in the town, the Woman seeking for other men’s attention… We discover that they once had a child that died shortly after its birth... Maybe this was the reason for their growing alienation?.. While the Old Man can only passively and sorrowfully observe his family falling apart, the abyss seems to slowly turn into tragedy...
