The Black Hen
Nepal
Bham Min Bahadur
Two young boys in a remote village in Nepal stumble upon a white hen roosting in an abandoned cowshed. They decide to make it their own and spin an elaborate plan to monetize their find during the civil war. However, they find it increasingly difficult to hold on to it, so, they color it black to increase their chances. That naive ploy at concealment unleashes a series of misfortune that takes over their lives.
